621- Bronze Incense Burner in the Shape of A Bird; The upper part of
the bird's body and the tip of t he tail form an openwork floral
pattern; the head and lower part of the body are covered with chased
designs, certain sections of which indicate stylized feathers, while
others show animal motifs.. Gorgan-Iran Late 11th C. 623- Six Sided Bronze incense Burner; In the shape of a box with a little cupola on top. The center panels and the dome show an ajour scrollwork pattern, while other parts are covered with a chased design. Probably Eastern Iran- Seljuk 12th C. 705- Large Plate with designs of Birds and Clouds; This design in blue on white is a free Persian interpretation of a Ming porcelain piece.. Mashhad-Iran Safavid Third quarter of16th C. 706- Large Plate with a Design of Five Animals in A Landscape; This design in blue on white under a transparent colorless glaze is copied from a Ming Plate. Mashhad- Iran, Safavid 1600 691- Brass Candlestick; Decorated with Thulth inscription and registers of chased decorations; arabesques, floral motifs, and inscriptions. Iran Mongol Era 14th C. 727- Agate Spoon in Gold Mounting with Enameled Decoration; Decorated with a bird in rose, green and blue Tehran-Iran Kajar Era 19th C. |
