4- High Conical Beaker; Buff ware painted in dull black with two
geometric patterns, each repeated twice
Tal-i-Bakun near Persepolis, Mid 4th Mil. B.C 6- Pottery Beaker; Buff ware decorated in black with six bearded long-horned goats with crosses over their backs, Tiny flat foot, Much restored Sialk III, Painted Pottery Bowl on tall stand; buff ware, red painting, bowl is decorated with fifteen men doing a chain dance. Each highly stylized nude has a goatee and a bank of hair. Stand has five registers of holes with concentric circles painted around them Tall-i-Jari Fars. 4th mil. BC. 12- Small figure of a man; with short beard from ear to ear, shaved around the lips. The upper part of the body and the legs are of black stone with their surfaces imitating the scales of serpents. The body is composed of several black and red stone disks with gold incrustations, while the eyes are inlaid with mica. all parts are held together by a central pin running from bottom to top Proto-Historic period 3000 BC. 11- Black Basalt Relief; handle repaired in antiquity with metal bands, front, bird of prey between two lion-beaded serpents, whose bodies show beneath his oddly marked outspread wings. Back; architectural motif, rhythmically repeated in two registers bordered by zigzag bands. Azerbaijan. 3rd Mil. B.C, |
