در سراسر همه کشور ها به جست و جو پرداخت. به جست و جوی
شاهی خوب که اورا با قلبی پاک ياری کند. آنگاه او نام کورش، پادشاه "انشان" را بر
خواند از او بنام پادشاه جهان ياد کرد.

Without battle
and conflict, he permitted him to enter Babylon. He spared his city, Babylon, a calamity. Nabonidus,
the king, who did not fear him, he delivered into his hand.

مردوک مقدر کرد تا کورش بدون جنگ و خونريزی به شهر بابل
وارد شود. او بابل را از هر بلائی ايمن داشت. او "نبونيد" شاه را که ترسی بخود
راه نميداد را به سرزمين خويش آورد.

fell down before him and kissed his feet. They rejoiced in his sovereignty;
